About NIMP CoSIF

The NIMP Strategic Co-Investment Fund (CoSIF) is a government-backed initiative under Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030), designed to accelerate access to capital for high-impact Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Mid-Tier Companies (MTCs). CoSIF aims to catalyse private investment by matching funds raised through registered Equity Crowdfunding (ECF) and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) financing platforms. By partnering with licensed market operators like Crowdo, CoSIF supports businesses in strategic and emerging sectors—especially those underserved by traditional financing channels.

Eligible companies that successfully raise capital via Crowdo may receive matched investments from CoSIF, based on predefined criteria and sectoral priorities. This initiative reflects a whole-of-nation approach to economic transformation, promoting inclusive industrial growth and enabling businesses to scale through market-based financing mechanisms. CoSIF is a key lever in unlocking RM40 billion in capital market fundraising by 2028.
